Concert ticketing firm Tickets.ie ceases trading
Ticket holders for upcoming events were told to wait to hear from event promoters directly.
The company behind events and concert ticketing company tickets.ie said it has ceased trading with a liquidator to be appointed.
In a statement on the website, Oshi Software Limited said the directors are taking steps to place the company into liquidation and appoint a liquidator over the company.
They said customers with tickets for upcoming events should wait to hear from the promoters directly.
"The winding up is being conducted in accordance with the Companies Acts," the statement said. "All enquiries should be directed to the appointed liquidator whose details will be published here once appointed."
"Customers with tickets for upcoming events should wait to hear from the relevant event promoter directly regarding their event."
"We would like to thank our customers, event promoters, and partners for their support and loyalty over many years. It has been a privilege to serve the Irish events community, and we are grateful for the trust you placed in Tickets.ie."
The directors of Oshi Software are London-based Stuart Galbraith and Detlef Kornett, CEO of German entertainment giant DEAG, which had acquired a majority stake in the company in 2022.
Tickets.ie founder John O'Neill resigned as a director in March 2025.
Up until recently, tickets.ie was advertising a host of events, concerts and festivals, including the recent Cowboys and Heroes festival in Leitrim and the Rockathon festival in Meath.
