Business movers: People starting new jobs in Ireland

Deirdre Roche has been appointed as head of commercial operations and business performance with digital and IT managed services provider Auxilion. Working cross-functionally, Deirdre will oversee business forecasting, pricing strategy, bid management and commercial governance. She will also be responsible for the company’s revenue growth and to ensure cost optimisation targets are consistently met. With 25 years of senior experience, Deirdre spent several years at Ergo, notably as head of business management and digital practice director; she also held lead roles at Intel Ireland and iSite in programme and delivery management and Microsoft-based solutions. Deirdre holds a Higher Diploma in Leadership Development from University College Cork.
Eoghan O’Flynn has been appointed executive head chef at The Metropole Hotel. He will lead the kitchen team at the historic Cork hotel. A native of Cobh, Co Cork, Eoghan brings more than a decade of culinary experience to the role, having worked in a diverse array of kitchens from Michelin Star fine dining establishments to local bistros and takeaways. A graduate of Munster Technological University (MTU), Eoghan holds a bachelor's degree in culinary arts and has worked in some of the most respected venues across Ireland and the UK, including Bastion Restaurant in Kinsale, Liss Ard Estate in Skibbereen, and Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Oxford.
