Eir reports 2025 revenue growth as fibre and mobile customer bases rise
Growtrh fueled by expanding fibre broadband, mobile, and FTTH networks, showcasing strong customer growth.
Telecommunications firm Eir reported a €24m jump in revenues to €1.35bn last year following a strong fourth quarter.
Publishing its annual and quarterly results, the firm said it increased its roadband fibre base by 1% to 894,000 customers, and billpay mobile customers increasing by 91,000 to 1,294,000 customers.
Eir said it is now approaching 1.5m premises that can connect to fibre to the home (FTTH) across Ireland, up 9% or 129,000 year-on-year.
It also added 1,000 or 1% to its eir TV service and now has 114,000 customers.
Oliver Loomes, eir CEO said they delivered a strong and consistent operational performance during 2025.
"The performance reflects our strategy of sustained network investment and customer focus which continues to yield results in the growth of both our mobile and fibre broadband bases," he said.
Stephen Tighe, eir CFO, said their performance in the fourth quarter of 2025 was in line with expectations. "We saw growth across the eir fibre broadband base and in total mobile customers, with a further increase seen in the multi-play bundling of eir fixed households. Our solid commercial momentum is now delivering organic revenue growth on a consistent basis."
