Drone delivery firm Manna sees record year with number of deliveries doubling
The company said it delivered everything from books from Eason and clothing from Gym+Coffee to groceries and healthcare and pharmacy products during the year.
Drone delivery firm Manna surpassed 250,000 deliveries during 2025, double what it recorded the year prior.
The company said it delivered everything from books from Eason and clothing from Gym+Coffee to groceries and healthcare and pharmacy products during the year, and it also launched a new “milk Manna” delivery service. Deliveries accelerated in January for the company and peaked in August.
In addition, the company announced a partnership with Deliveroo for an autonomous drone food delivery service in Dublin. Dublin 15 alone accounted for 60,000 deliveries.
The company recorded strong growth throughout 2025, with year-on-year growth over 100% in deliveries, accelerating from January and peaking in August.
Manna co-founder Bobby Healy credited the company’s 170 employees for its success over the year.
Mr Healy said Ireland could “lead globally” in the drone delivery space in the same way “it did with Ryanair by building an operation that is efficient, scalable and commercially sustainable”.
He added 2026 would be “a big year for Manna internationally as we expand”.
The company has also revealed that, following regulatory approval from the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) in October, it has deployed its new quieter propellers across its aerial fleet.
In the year up to February 2025, the company recorded 35 complaints from the community, which increased to 150 by the end of the autumn. Since the new propellers were installed, it claims there has been minimal complaints recorded.
Manna head of regulation Kevin Houston said since it deployed these new propellers, it had received fewer than 10 complaints from the community.
Drone delivery is a burgeoning sector. Last week, US drone delivery firm Ziplane was valued at $7.6bn (€6.51bn ) after it raised $600m during its latest funding round.
