Cork corporate travel agency Frosch Ireland has confirmed the acquisition of Dublin travel firm John Galligan Travel (JGT).

JGT has been operating for the past 36 years and holds particular expertise in the luxury cruise market and polar expedition travel.

Frosch Ireland, based in Little Island, was founded in 2000 by Angela Walsh as Corporate Travel Management.

The company became part of the international Frosch Group in 2018. It also has offices in Shannon, Dublin, and Tralee.

It has made a number of acquisitions in recent years, including The Travel Broker in 2024 and Grogan Travel this year.

Speaking on the deal, Frosch managing director Ms Walsh said: “John Galligan Travel is a name synonymous with quality, integrity, and trust in the travel sector. We are proud to welcome John and his outstanding team to the Frosch family.

“This acquisition represents more than growth; it is a union built on shared values and a deep commitment to exceptional client service.”

John Galligan said he would remain involved with the business over the next year to ensure a seamless transition.

“I am confident that with Frosch’s resources and global partnerships, our clients will enjoy even greater choice and experiences while still receiving the same personal service they value.”
