Irish professionals are working extra hours just to keep up with challenges created by cost-saving and stalled hiring plans, a new survey has found.

The study by recruitment firm Robert Walters has found that 37% of Irish professionals report starting work early or finishing late every day, while 38% say their hours are workload dependent. Only a quarter report sticking to their core office hours.
