Business movers: People starting new jobs in Ireland

Here is a selection of people starting new roles with Irish Life, Datavant, European Association of Zoos and Aquaria, RTÉ Radio 1, Dairygold Co-Operative Society and Elgin.
Kieran Dempsey has been appointed as chief investment officer for Irish Life, Canada Life Europe and Strategic Corporate Development, all members of parent company Great-West Lifeco’s Global Investments business. He is currently MD and chief investment officer of group member Setanta Asset Management; he will step down from his MD role in Setanta, but will remain a member of the board. “Under Kieran’s leadership, Setanta has successfully applied a long-term value investing approach to its global equity and multi-asset funds and today manages €14bn in assets on behalf of institutional clients,” said David Harney, president and COO, Europe and CRS and Interim Global CIO for Great-West Lifeco.
