Argon & Co to create 35 jobs in Dublin following acquisition of Pebble

Global management consultancy Argon & Co is to create 35 jobs as part of its Irish expansion after completing its acquisition of Dublin business design firm Pebble Business Transformation. 

Argon announced on Wednesday it will immediately invest in 35 staff members across its key business capability areas, with further expansion planned as it scales its operations across Ireland.

The former Pebble team will continue its work with leading Irish and European companies across the food and drink, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, dairy, and construction sectors. 

Pebble co-founder Conor Duggan, now a partner at Argon, said  the expansion will strengthen the firm's offering in a challenging geopolitical trading environment. “Our expansion comes at an appropriate time, allowing us to support businesses navigate changing political environments, whilst also seizing the opportunities of advanced technologies through our leading business design," Mr Duggan said. 

Argon & Co has 17 offices across Europe, Australasia, America, Asia and the Middle East. The company announced its acquisition of Pebble last month. The Pebble leadership team of Mr Duggan, Joe Hughes, and Regina Stapleton will remain in place at Argon as partners to lead the team and client relationships.

Enterprise, tourism, and employment minister Peter Burke welcomed plans to invest in operations in Dublin. “It’s fantastic to see businesses like Argon & Co investing in Ireland and harnessing our experienced, talented and skilled workforce,” Mr Burke said.
