Cork PV installer Swyft acquired by Bord Gáis Energy

Bord Gáis says its latest purchase will allow it to compete better for the growing demand for solar energy in residential, commercial and agricultural sectors

Bord Gáis Energy has announced its acquisition of Swyft Energy, a solar photovoltaic (PV) provider headquartered in Cork, for an undisclosed amount.

The energy giant already operates in the solar PV market, working directly with residential customers and through its Irish Farmer's Association partnership.
