Local brands dominate rankings of fast-moving consumer goods

Kantar said Irish households were purchasing an average of 77 brands over the course of the year.

Brennans remains Ireland's favourite brand chosen by consumers, with local brands dominating rankings.

Market research firm Kantar said its ranking of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) shows the top five most chosen brands have remained unchanged, with the bakery firm leading in first position, followed by Avonmore, Tayto, Cadbury’s Dairy Milk and Jacob’s.
