Toyota and Honda in major recall over faulty air bags

The Toyota recall affects some 3.4 million vehicles globally and is being undertaken because the air bags might not inflate in a crash.

Two different air bag glitches have forced Toyota and Honda to recall more than six million vehicles worldwide, the car companies said on Tuesday.

Both problems present different dangers to motorists.
