Ryanair has said it expects to have dealt with just over half of the 315,000 customers who have had their flights cancelled in the past few days.

The airline - which is shelving up to 50 flights daily over the next six weeks - said they sent a cancellation email to all 315,000 customers on Monday and offered them alternative flights, refunds and EU261 notices.
