'Significant number' of Volkswagen owners 'considering legal action'

International lawyers say they have been approached by a "significant number" of Volkswagen owners and shareholders who are considering legal action against the company.

The German manufacturer has admitted that 11 million diesel cars were fitted with software to trick testers into thinking they were cleaner than they actually were.
