Vodafone revenue up almost 1%

Mobile phone giant Vodafone said its service revenue grew 0.8% in the first quarter of the year to end of June, compared to a 2.9% fall a year ago, as key markets in the UK rose and Germany continued to recover.

It comes after an improvement of 0.1% in the previous quarter, the group’s first growth by this measure in nearly three years.
