30 new jobs for Limerick engineering company

30 new jobs are being created at a mechanical and electrical engineering contracting firm in Limerick.

Hiring for the full-time positions at Kirby Group is to begin immediately.

There are a variety of professional engineering and construction jobs on offer - including project management, site management and quantity surveying.

Finance Minister Michael Noonan has welcomed today's announcement and says the company should be congratulated for its "proven capacity to create employment".

Kirby Group is an Irish owned company, which has offices in Limerick, Dublin, Galway, the UK and Europe, employs more than 600 staff. It is celebrating its 50th year in operation, and has hired 30 other employees since the beginning of the year.
