Government expected to vote against pension increase for Aer Lingus chief
The Government is expected to vote against the approval of the pay package of the Aer Lingus boss at the airline's AGM today.
It has been reported that there are concerns over a proposed pension increase for CEO Christoph Mueller, which would see the employer contribution rise from 25% to 40% of his base salary.
It comes amid ongoing controversy over the pensions of other employees at the airline.
The Government has a 25% stake in Aer Lingus.
