IBEC: Reversal of low VAT rate would cost jobs

Business representative group IBEC has said the VAT and employment supports afforded to the hospitality sector must be extended.

IBEC said a reversal of the 9% VAT rate to 13.5% would cost 10,000 jobs and undo much of the employment recovery seen over the past year.
