Duffy: AIB to increase mortgage write-offs

AIB Chief Executive David Duffy has said his bank will increase its mortgage write-offs in the coming months.

The bank had been criticised after its appearance before the Oireachtas Finance Committee this week - in which it suggested that sending 'legal letters' to mortgage-holders in arrears counted as a 'long-term solution'.
