Report: Dublin construction rises while rest of the country continues to fall

A new report shows that Dublin continues to buck the property trend in terms of construction, while the rest of the country is falling.

The National Housing Construction Index for the first six months of the year shows that in Dublin, new applications for planning permission are up 7% and there is a 9% rise in the start of new buildings.
