40% of Irish companies faced online security breach in last 12 months, says survey

Four out of 10 Irish businesses responding to a recent survey experienced at least one online security breach, that they know of, in the past 12 months.

The Deloitte 2013 Irish Information Security and Cybercrime survey, in association with EMC, released today, also shows that cybercrime costs Irish organisations, on average, 2.7% of annual turnover, a recent survey has found.
