Nama pursuing Galway developer for €108m

Nama is looking for judgment orders against Galway hotelier and developer Michael Finn and his wife Claire.

The National Asset Management Agency is pursuing the couple for €108m

Nama alleges the couple have invested over €500,000 in a car business and that they have transferred shares in their family home to their children - and are not using the funds available to them to reduce their liabilities.

It has appointed receivers to various companies controlled by Michael Finn who has connections to developments including the House Hotel and Spanish Arch Hotel in Galway.
