Construction continues six-year decline

The decline in the construction industry has extended to the six-year mark, according to the latest Ulster Bank Construction Purchasing Managers Index.

The survey, which tracks changes in the sector, revealed that the numbers for May stood at 42, broadly in line with the reading of 41.9 in the previous month.
