A common regulatory system for troubled banks across the world will be the main topic up for discussion, at a banking conference in the capital today.

Organisers of the event argue that the current bank resolution mechanisms have not worked, as they did not provide a joint approach to the economic crisis which is being faced by many countries around the world.
