SIMI: Car sales tumble in 'tough' market

The Society of the Irish Motor Industry has reported that car sales for the first quarter of the year fell 14% on last year.

The society's report revealed that 39,511 new cars were sold in the first three months of 2013, compared to 45,840 last year, a decline of 6,329.
