Ryanair is set to buy 200 new aircraft from US firm Boeing, in a €14bn deal to be announced when the Taoiseach is in Washington on St. Patrick's day.

It is in order to help the airline boost its yearly passenger numbers from 80 to 120 million by the time the purchase is completed.
