NTMA completes auction of €500m of Treasury Bills
The National Treasury Management Agency has raised half a billion euro on the financial markets.
The NTMA has completed its auction of Irish Treasury Bills, selling the target amount of €500m.
The total bids received amounted to €2.06bn, more than four times the amount on offer.
It was hoped the decision of ratings agency Fitch to upgrade its assessment of Ireland from negative to stable yesterday would help boost Ireland's reputation.
