Standard Chartered agrees deal with regulators

The British banking giant Standard Chartered has agreed a multi-million dollar settlement with New York regulators.

It follows allegations that it hid transactions with the Iranian government, exposing the US to terrorists.

A monitor will be installed at the bank for at least two years to control money-laundering.
