High Court reserves judgement in Quinn case

The High Court has reserved its decision in proceedings that could see former billionaire Seán Quinn jailed.

IBRC, formerly Anglo Irish Bank, claims the bankrupt businessman, his recently-wed son Seán Quinn Junior and his nephew Peter Quinn are in breach of court orders.

The injunctions were granted to the bank last summer to stop members of the Quinn family disposing of valuable international assets.

IBRC claims the assets are collateral for debts that total €2.8bn.
