The total number of flights in Irish airspace has increased by just under 2%, according to the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA).

However, the numbers also revealed that international arrivals and departures for Shannon, Dublin and Cork airports dropped by 2% in February 2012, when compared to February 2011.
