Kilkenny firm launches Irish caviar

Irish caviar could soon be on the menu at your local restaurant.

It is being launched today by Goatsbridge Trout Farm in Thomastown, County Kilkenny.

Management there is hoping to have it on shop shelves around the country by the end of the year.

Company spokesperson Mags Kirwan says it's already proved popular with potential international buyers at a food showcase in Dublin.
