Mortgage market down 50% year-on-year in Q3
Activity in the mortgage market remained weak between July and September, new figures indicate.
According to data from the Irish Banking Federation and PriceWaterhouseCooper, 3,607 new mortgages valued at €623m were issued in the third quarter of this year, down 50% compared to the same period last year.
