CEO of Dublin Airport to take up London Airport post

The Chief Executive of the Dublin Airport Authority is to resign at the end of April to take up a new position as head of London City Airport.

Mr Collier, who joined the DAA in April 2005, hit the headlines last year when he agreed to forego a €100,000 bonus after being criticised by a number of Government ministers.

The board of the DAA has wished Mr Collier every success in his new role, and said it is sorry to see him go.

Mr Collier said that he was looking forward to his new role at London City Airport and to working with the team at London City and with its owners.
