Receiver appointed to Mr Binman

A receiver has been appointed to the waste collection group Mr Binman.

It comes after the High Court today refused to confirm the appointment of an examiner.

Lawyers for Mr Binman say they do not intend to appeal the High Court's decision.

The companies employs 331 people across Munster.

However, lawyers for Bank of Scotland, who have appointed the receivers, have reassured workers that they will be paid tomorrow as normal.
