Online job adverts up year-on-year, but down 10% in last three months

The total number of jobs advertised online is up year on year, but figures fell 10% in the last three months, according to the Irishjobs.ie index which was released today.

The index recorded significant falls in jobs advertised online for security and marketing in the third quarter of the year when compared with the second quarter.

There were increases in the number of jobs advertised in general management, human resources, sales and telecoms.

The jobs index measures jobs advertised online across the main recruitment websites in Ireland.
