Moody's downgrades nine Portuguese banks

Nine Portuguese banks have had their credit ratings downgraded.

Moody's Ratings Agency has said it made the move due to increased asset risk as a result of the banks' holdings of Portuguese government debt.

All of the banks have a negative outlook, and have had their ratings downgraded by one or two notches, making it more difficult for them to borrow money.
