Anglo 'may not need' all of €23bn bailout

Troubled lender Anglo Irish Bank has indicated that not all of the €29.3bn State bailout may be needed.

The now nationalised bank has recorded a loss of €101m for the first six months of the year, which is a marked improvement on the €8.2bn loss recorded for the same time last year.
