Aer Arann announces Dublin to Kerry route

Aer Arann is to provide a service between Dublin Airport and Farranfore in Kerry.

Transport Minister Leo Varadkar this morning confirmed that the airline has been awarded the subsidised contract for the route.

Scottish airline Loganair has won the contract for the Donegal to Dublin service.

It follows a decision yesterday by Ryanair to withdraw its services connecting Cork and Kerry Airports to Dublin.
