Irish retail sales levels continued to fall in the second quarter of 2011, according to a review of the retail industry in the second quarter of 2011 by Retail Excellence Ireland (REI).

Overall, year-on-year sales levels fell by an average of 6% during the second quarter, increasing from a rate of decline of 3% in the first quarter.
