Govt has 'done nothing' to tackle pensions 'timebomb'
The Insurance industry has said no policy initiative of the new Government so far has done anything to tackle the pensions timebomb.
The incoming President of the Irish Insurance Federation Gerry Hassett said every single policy of the previous and current Governments "has been negative".
Mr Hassett said the recent pensions levy to pay for the jobs initiative "did not help in encouraging people to take out a pension".
