Almost 50% of small firms 'waiting three months for payments'

A new survey reveals that almost half of all small and medium sized businesses are waiting up to three months to get paid by larger businesses and state agencies.

The Irish Small and Medium Enterprises Association said the problem of late payments is putting some companies out of business.
