Agricultural land prices in Ireland have plummeted by a massive 57% in four years going from €20,200 per acre in 2007 to €8,700 per acre in 2010, according to a new study.

Agricultural land prices in Ireland have plummeted by a massive 57% in four years going from €20,200 per acre in 2007 to €8,700 per acre in 2010, according to a new study.

The 32-county comparison of farming land prices published in today's Farmers' Journal found that the national average for 2010 (€8,741 per acre) is down almost 14.5% on the previous year.
