Bank of Ireland is to sell its fund administration business to Northern Trust, for up to €60m.

Bank of Ireland is to sell its fund administration business to Northern Trust, for up to €60m.

The sale of the Bank of Ireland Securities Services is set to further boost capital levels, the bank said.

The bank also said the deal would be subject to certain regulatory conditions, but it is expected to close in the coming months.

Northern Trust is a US asset management and custody services company.
