Ratings agency: Ireland needs to be 'lucky'

The director of an international ratings agency has said Ireland needs to implement the four-year plan for the economy, and be lucky, to see our credit rating restored to a higher level.

Fitch downgraded Ireland's debt for the second time in two months yesterday, bringing it to Triple-B-plus, the same level as South Africa and Libya.
