There was a muted response on the markets yesterday to the publication of the four year plan and little has changed so far this morning.

Shares in AIB are unchanged since trading opened, and both Bank of Ireland and Irish Life and Permanent are up slightly.

The yield being charged on 10-year government bonds is at 8.9%.

Economist Michael O'Sullivan has said markets have real concerns that the four-year plan will be too much for the economy to handle.
