A report by the head of the Credit Review Office, John Threthowan, has found that lending to small firms by the country's two main banks is improving.

A report by the head of the Credit Review Office, John Threthowan, has found that lending to small firms by the country's two main banks is improving.

Launching his second quarterly report earlier, Mr Threthowan said the recapitilisation plan for the two main banks is now achieving its objective of ensuring that a functioning bank is in place to support economic activity.
