Truckers face new EU levy

Truckers are facing a new levy, after EU transport ministers agreed to slap a new pollution and noise tax on heavy goods vehicles.

The 27 member states will now be able to charge heavy lorries both the cost of infrastructure - through tolls - and to levy extra charges for the cost of air and noise pollution.
