The Taoiseach Brian Cowen has pledged government support for the proposed Global Pharmaceutical Centre of Excellence in Tralee in Co Kerry.

The developers had earlier confirmed that they are finalising plans for submission to Kerry County Council for a facility at the Kerry Technology Park.
