Dell in $1.5bn acquisition

Dell has announced a $1.5bn (€1.16bn) deal to buy system and software company 3PAR.

The Texas-based computer maker says the move will help make their IT simpler and more affordable.

3PAR cuts data storage costs by using something called "virtualisation technology" which aims to get the most out of machines.
