Report: Aviva rejects RSA approach

A £5bn (€6bn) approach by More Than insurer RSA for Aviva’s general insurance arm has been rejected by its rival, it was reported today.

The interest in the Norwich-based operation – the UK’s leading general insurer with an estimated 13% market share – was made in a letter by RSA’s chairman John Napier in the last few weeks, Sky News said.
