iPad on sale in Ireland today

The Apple iPad is being launched in Ireland today, but a hi-tech rival is already in the pipeline.

Microsoft's new tablet computer is set to the released later this year, in a deal with Hewlett Packard.

Apple has sold more than three million iPads since it went on sale in the US in April.
